המסכת מסתיימת עם תיאור ההיכל והמידות שלו, כולל האולם. כמה תאים היו בו? כמה קומות של תאים היו? מה זה המסיבה? לאיזה צורך שימש? יש תיאור של העלייה של ההיכל. מה היו הלשכות בתוף העזרה? מהן המדיות של כל העזרה, כולל ההיכל? מה שימש לשכת הגזית?

The masechet ends with a description of the sanctuary and its measurements, including the ulam. How many cubicles were there? How many stories were the cubicles? What is the mesiba? What was it used for? The sanctuary had a roof. What were the different chambers in the azara and what were they used for? What are the measurements of the entire azara? What was the Chamber of Hewn Stone used for?

המשנה ממשיכה להיכנס פנימה לעזרה ולתאר את הכלים שהיו בעזרה מחוץ להיכל – המזבח (מידות המזבח – איך היה שונה מבית ראשון) והכיור. היא מתארת את המדרגות שעלו לאולם (באיזור בין האולם למזבח), ואיך נראית האולם. איך הכהנים נכנסו בבוקר להיכל ופתחו דלתותיה?

The mishna continues moving inward and describes the altar and its measurements – how were they different from the first temple? The area in between the altar and the ulam housed the basin and had steps leading to the ulam. What was in the ulam? How did the priests enter the sanctuary and unlock the gates?

מה היה הסורג? איפה היה ממוקם? מה היה החיל? כמה מדרגות היו שם? מה הגודל של כל הפתחים במקדש? מה הצורה של כל הפתחים? לכל פתח היה דלת. איך שיפצו את כל הדלתות? כל הכתלים מעל הפתחים היו גבוהים. בכל עניינים אלו היה יוצא מן הכלל אחד. מה הגודל של עזרת הנשים ומה היו ולמה שימשו הלשכות שהיו בתוכה? איזה שינוי עשו בעזרת הנשים ולאיזה סיבה? מקור למחיצה הראשונה. כמה מעלות היו בכניסה מעזרת נשים לעזרה? מה היו המידות של האיזורים בעזרת ישראל ועזרת כהנים? למה היו י”ג השתחויות? מהן השמות של י”ג שערי עזרה?

איפה הכהנים ולויים שמרו במקדש? מה קרה למי שישן במשמר? מה שמות שערי הר הבית ושערי עזרה? מהן הלשכות שהיו בבית המוקד? איפה שמרו על מפתחות העזרה? מהן המידות של שטח הר הבית? איפה בתוך האיזור הזה ממוקם המקדש? באיזה כיוון הולכים כשנכנסים להר הבית? מי היה פונה בכיוון אחר ולמה?

Where did the priests and levites guard in the temple and the temple mount? What happened to one who slept on the job? What were the names of the gates around the temple mount and the gates around the azara (temple courtyard)? What were the rooms in the beit hamoked? Where were the keys to the azara hidden? What are the dimensions of the temple mount? Where within that was the temple situated? When one entered the Temple Mount, in which direction would he/she walk? Which people would walk in the opposite direction? Why?
